OMG, This place is fantastic. I will be honest with you. I would rather cook my own food then be taking out to breakfast, lunch & dinner, But HONEYBIRD is the best food on the our planet.The breakfast burrito is unbelievable.I haven't had an enormous burrito like this since I made it myself. The fried chicken & macaroni & cheese is the best in town.Service is great. Ambiance is great. I give Honeybird a two thumbs up. Don't cheat yourself, treat yourself...

Interesting line of food at Honeybird- fried chicken, cool salad sides, great breakfast burritos and shrimp grits. We haven't tried the chicken so you'll have to rely on other reviews. The breakfast burrito is da bomb! Fluffy eggs with hash brown in a toasty tortilla. Shrimp and grits comes with a load of bacon and I hate to say this but I think it actually had too much bacon. Yes I realize that is hard to believe. But I thought it competed with the shrimp and overpowered it. At another meal we tried the Kale salad-overall very good but ask for dressing on the side. Like many places they overdo the dressing. We took the remaining half salad home mixed it with an equal portion of greens to tame the dressing load. The sides are mostly good. Our favorites were the macaroni salad and the broccoli salad. Parking is plentiful in the back of the restaurant. Hard surfaces in the restaurant makes it rather noisy when kids are in the joint and this place is frequently host to families having a meal out.

We stopped in for lunch / brunch on a Saturday - plenty of packing in the back- and my husband had the chicken breakfast platter with gravy and hash browns and I had the BBQ chicken salad and we shared some of the honeybird biscuits. Everything was so good! My husband loved the fried chicken and said the gravy was bomb. I had the bbq chicken salad and it was soooooooo delicious! Perfectly crunchy and so flavorful. We both really enjoyed the honeybird biscuits that come with a sweet butter. We ordered some slices of pie to go, can't wait to eat those later! We will definitely come back when we are in the area. Everything was delicious

I came here for the first time after being recommended by a friend who was also a former employee! I was in the area for a concert and we got dinner before the show with a couple others. This place has generous servings and the taste is also very nice; however, it was a bit too salty for my preference. I think a side of salad would help balance it out. I got a 3 piece meal with a side of mashed potatoes and collard greens. Both were delicious. I split this with someone and it was still filling for both of us. There is plenty of seating and a lot of necessary items such as napkins and sauces are provided and is self serve! No need to get a workers attention! The food is very filling and I honestly really enjoyed the vibes of this restaurant. I hope to return to try more dishes.

Honeybird is now serving boneless fried chicken thigh breakfast burritos that are OUT OF THIS WORLD. Flavor and size are on point and the staff is really nice. Def working this into the Sunday breakfast a couple times a month. Would do it more but wanna maintain my summer of shred. It's sooooo nice to have a killer breakfast burrito place in LCF now . Holla at it TODAY!

Saw review about this online and happen to be going to the area, so decided to stop and try their breakfast. Located off foothill Boulevard there is street parking and parking in the back. Cute, very clean interior with plenty of indoor tables. you order at the counter and they call your name when your order is ready. On weekends they have brunch with a special menu. The chicken and waffle was good. I would like a little bit more salt on the chicken. The syrup isn't very sweet. One of my friends had the breakfast burrito and said it was very filling and it could only eat half. the fried chicken platter could also be shared by two. The latte was good, but didn't have much banana cream pie taste once it was all mixed in. Food is made to order so it does take about 15 minutes. They had some ready-made sides that you can see behind the glass counter. That looked delicious. We have to come back again and try some of those as well as their lunch sandwich.

It's been over 2 years since I had fried chicken from Honeybird. The last time I had it, the fried chicken was too salty. It was uneatable I was picking up my wife from work in Sunland today. I decided to give Honeybird a try to see if they took notice to my review and change their recipe. When I walked in around 6:30, I noticed the sign that they were celebrating their 8th anniversary with free ice cream from Moo Moo Mia in Monrovia. I ordered my usual 6 wings, 1 thigh and 1 breast. The big test. Was the chicken salty? No. The chicken tasted good. Not like the original recipe which was crunchier. But still, a big improvement from the last time. I didn't order the sides because they were about to close. My take out order was ready in about 10 minutes. Updated DJ's rating: 4.40/5.00 Would I come back? Yes.

Wow are you so juicy and delicious! First time and it won't be my last! I'll definitely come back to try other goodness! The service here is excellent, the gentle man that was helping us choose which items were popular and was so patient with us when we were trying to figure out what we wanted~ The place is super clean cozy and spacious. If you love good fried chicken sandwiches or delicious juicy chickens don't miss this spot! You'll be sorry

I really enjoyed this spot! I came with my boyfriend just after they opened on a weekday and we were helped right away. Order at the counter and grab a buzzer type of place. The sandwiches were tasty and the chicken was juicy. It FELT like a healthier/cleaner chicken sandwich. But I'm not sure why maybe fresher ingredients. Everything was flavorful and I had no belly ache after. Win! Will not be my go-to chicken sandwich place but I'll definitely be back.
